Vahalla Hunt Club
This past weekend River Deep and SCI HOP, hosted patients and staff from Craig Hospital. Saturday was a warm, sunny day with a slight breeze. A perfect day to be outside having fun trap shooting, chasing pheasants, and all of us watching the dogs work the field doing what they enjoy most.

We have an experienced group of patients from Craig Hospital, all are bird hunters and from all areas across the country. We start with a tune up at the trap range. Everyone gets dialed in quickly and then it’s down to the lodge for a great lunch. After lunch, it was time to gather the dogs, volunteers and hunters and head out to the grass fields. There were two hunters shooting at a time while the dogs went to work, and the pheasants flew. Some pheasants ended up in the game bag, and some flew to another zip code. This day was about being outdoors and enjoying the surroundings while having fun. The pheasants were a bonus, and everyone had a great time.

A big thanks to the Valhalla Hunt Club, all the volunteers and Craig Hospital.
