Trap Shooting and Lunch for Craig Hospital
It’s warm and windy on the plains. We have a big group from Craig Hospital anxious to shoot some clays. We have Trac chairs and adaptive equipment for the participants to use. We also have mechanical engineering students from the Colorado School of Mines who will be working with the adaptive equipment and researching ways to improve its functionality. The students will go back to the drawing board to work on the equipment, and we are all looking forward to seeing the new and improved version. The patient’s, family members, volunteers and staff are having fun on the trap range. It’s close to lunch time so we head to the clubhouse for some pheasant casserole and side dishes and finish up with homemade cookies. We head back out to the trap range for a fun afternoon of clay shooting.

A big thanks to Vahalla Hunt Club, Craig Hospital, the Colorado School of Mines mechanical engineering students, staff, volunteers, and Task Force ISO for the great pictures.
