Participants: Craig Hospital & Operation TBI Freedom
River Deep Alliance and Denver SCI Humanitarian Outreach Program launched our first series of art classes with participants from Craig Hospital and Operation TBI Freedom. The classes will be held once a month at the Art Students League of Denver. Our first class is acrylic abstract and the following months will be taught by artist Karen Roehl, who did a great job guiding everyone thru their first painting that participants will take home. Rachel Basye, the director of the school, has made sure this class was a great success and we are all looking forward to the next one. At the end of the class, we were treated to some great barbecue from Jim ‘N Nick’s – Colorado.
A big thanks to everyone who made this a fantastic class and evening.
