November 4th, 2019 Location: Cottonwood Center for the Arts, Colorado Springs, CO. Hosted By: River Deep Foundation and SCI HOP Participants: Operation TBI Freedom Last Tuesday we had another amazing art class. We learned how to craft small baskets from pine needles! Our instructor, Elizabeth Barber, taught our group about identifying, gathering and preparing materials. Our class learned basic coiled basketry techniques and stitches, while creating a small work of art to take home. Everyone in the class had a wonderful time! A big thanks to the Cottonwood Center for the Arts and our instructor, Elizabeth Barber.
