Beginning Drawing Class

Last Monday we had a lot fun in the “Beginning Drawing Class” at the Cottonwood Center for the Arts. Our instructor and portrait artist, LeAnna Tuff, guided us through the basics of drawing; including shape, proportion, and getting your own best likeness.

We learned about values and shading, and about the importance of proper lighting as you draw a basic still life. We also learned foundational techniques that enables us to accomplish our creative goals. Everyone had an amazing time putting learned skills into practice.
