Art Class – Quilling
Four veterans and three family members enjoyed a fun class at Cottonwood Center for the Arts. The evening started with some background about Quilling which is process that, as we learned, was invented in Europe during the Middle Ages. It involves rolling up strips of colored paper and shaping them into different designs to create a piece of art! Each participant was able to take their work of art home with them and are excited to have learned a new, meditative technique for creating art!
