Colorado School of Mines/ Quality of Life Plus
Alliance committee members recently initiated an exciting connection to engineering students from the Colorado School of Mines. The students are designing new user-controlled adaptive equipment that will allow disabled patients improved access to archery, fishing and shooting. The students will be working with us throughout 2019 and will be attending many of our outings in order to understand the needs and challenges of our clients. This collaboration was made possible by Quality of Life Plus an organization whose mission is to foster and generate innovations that aid and improve the quality of life for those who have served our country. We are all looking forward to seeing what they design!
