Date: July 11, 2021 Location: Specialty Appliance - Greenwood Village, CO Hosted by: River Deep & SCIHOP Participating Groups: Operation TBI Freedom & Ft. Carson SRU Wild Game Cooking Class with Chef Leslie Fangman All the veterans in attendance at this class learned how to cook and eat like royalty. Chef Leslie's menu for the day was a mouth watering array of pheasant, fish, elk, and a seemingly endless variety of curry recipes. She demonstrated how to approach cooking wild game meats to the class, focusing on both technique and preparation. The veterans helped prepared and cook these new recipes. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the delicious food! As always, a big thank you to Specialty Appliance for letting us use their showroom kitchen! I'm glad that you talked about she showed the class how to prepare wild game proteins, emphasizing both technique and preparation. One of my parents' friends also uses wild recipes sometimes in a tournament. Thank you for the tips about wild game recipes.
