Hosted by: River Deep Foundation & Denver SCI HOP Location: Lincoln Hills Fly Fishing Club - Black Hawk, CO Participants: Operation TBI Freedom, Ft. Carson SRU Fly Fishing with Anglers of Honor This is our final fly fishing outing for the year. The stream is low and clear so the fishing will be a challenge. We start with the regular Anglers of Honor instruction. Next, everyone is given gear and assigned to guides. Most of the group today has not had experience fly fishing so they are excited to be in the stream! Regardless of the low water, everyone manages to put a fish or two in the net by lunchtime. A good, hot meal and some fish stories are perfect to round out this chilly day. Thanks so much to Lincoln Hills and all of the Anglers of Honor guides for another great season! And to all of the volunteers and other groups who help make these trips successful. Bob Adwar President, River Deep Foundation/ Anglers of Honor VP, SCI Humanitarian Outreach ![]()

I found it interesting when you said that the experience provides more great memories for the trip. After moving to our current area, my wife wants to experience a guided fly fishing trip for her birthday next week, and she asked if I have any idea what is the best option to do. Thanks to this helpful article, I'll be sure to tell her that I will consult a guided fly fishing trip service as they can answer all our inquiries.
