Archery at RMS Gear

March 10th, 2019
Location: RMS Gear, Wheat Ridge, CO.
Hosted By: River Deep and SCI HOP
Participants: Craig Hospital & Operation TBI Freedom

We have a packed house today at RMS Gear. Men, women, children, along with the expert staff, will be using recurve bows, a few compounds and one crossbow. Everyone moves up to the line and is fitted with a bow along with some personalized instruction. The fun begins no matter what level you are at. Everyone is having a great time.

After a couple of hours of slinging arrows, we were ready for lunch, which was provided by The Ranch West 40 Restaurant (who never disappoints us!). We also have engineering students from the School of Mines who are designing new adaptive equipment for archery, fishing and shooting. The students will be working with us all year and attending many of our outings. We are all looking forward to seeing the end results. Quality of Life Plus is the organization making it happen.

It’s been a fun day and a big thanks to everyone who made it possible.
