A day of instruction, fly fishing and lunch for Operation TBI Freedom, Freedom Hunters and Craig Hospital

Anglers of Honor Program

It’s a great day in the Colorado Rockies. The river and ponds are full of trout and waiting for us. We have a group of wounded warriors and Craig Hospital patients along with the expert guide staff from Lincoln Hills. We start with the fundamentals of Fly Fishing. After that, we head out with the guides and stretch out along the river and pond. The day is for healing and instruction. The trout are secondary but it’s always nice to catch a few. All you have to do is look at the smiles on everyone’s face and you know that all is well. At 1:00 we head up to the club house deck overlooking the pond and are treated to a great lunch compliment of Escoffier Culinary Academy. A big thanks to everyone who helped make this day possible!
