Anglers of Honor
It’s a beautiful day in the Colorado Mountains, we have a big group of Vets and Craig Hospital patients ready for some fly fishing instruction. Before we hit the river and ponds we break up into small groups with the guides from Anglers of Honor to learn knots, gear and casting. There, we suit up with waders and fly rods and are assigned our guides. Some head to the river and some to the ponds. We have track chairs for those who want to go off road or through the stream. Both large and small trout are caught be we are wanting some for everyone. It’s lunchtime and we head up to the clubhouse and a special lunch prepared by the Escoffier Culinary Academy from Boulder who always do a great job. Great food, guides, weather, fishing,  smiles all around and, of course, fish stories. It’s been a great day and a big thanks to everyone who made this possible.
