Today brought us some much anticipated cooler weather, so clouds and the occasional drizzle was not enough to stop participants and their families from enjoying this day. Everyone spreads out across the facility to enjoy their favorite activity, be that fishing on their choice of ponds, or taking a stab at 3-D archery in which simulated wild animals are used as targets. The CYO archery instructors are there to make sure it it a safe, fun and instructional activity. River Deep guides and volunteers are there for any fisherman, big and small who need guidance. At lunchtime we gathered at the outdoor pavilion for rib-eye steak, hot dogs and sides dishes provided by and expertly cooked up by All American Beef Battalion. They always do an excellent feeding our crew and we are so grateful for their participation. It’s been a fantastic day. A big thanks to CYO and all the guides and volunteers that made this another memorable outing.
