December 8, 2021 Location: Peak Bowl - Colorado Springs, CO Hosted by: River Deep Foundation Participating Groups: Operation TBI and Ft. Carson SRU We are excited to be hosting veterans and their family members at our annual Christmas Party! The wonderful folks at Peak Bowl in Colorado Springs helped make it a fun day by providing the space for bowling and lunch. The kids were able to meet Santa and received gifts from the big man himself! The holiday spirit was in full force and we are so grateful to everyone who helps make these events special and memorable. Happy Holidays to all the men and women who have served in the military and their families who have supported them along the way.

December 6th, 2019 Location: Bass Pro Shop, Colorado Springs, CO. Hosted By: River Deep Foundation and SCI HOP Participants: Operation TBI Freedom & Ft. Carson Warrior Transition Battalion We had over 100 Veterans, Soldiers and family members gathered for our annual Christmas Party. The kids are all excited to meet Santa and receive their gifts. We also will be having fun at the bowling alley and with arcade games. After the festivities we gathered for lunch. It's been a wonderful day for all and a great way to celebrate the holidays and thank all of the men and women who have served. I also want to personally thank all the staff from Operation TBI Freedom, Ft. Carson WTB, and River Deep Foundation and Alliance members for all you do. December 7th, 2018 Location: Bass Pro Shop, Colorado Springs, CO. Hosted By: River Deep and SCI HOP Participants: Operation TBI and Ft. Carson WTB We have bowling, lunch, and best of all, we have Santa who handed out gifts to all of the children. There are almost 100 children and just as many vets and family members. It's a fun day for all to enjoy the activities and celebrate the holidays. Task Force ISO is helping out with pictures of the day. Everyone is having a great time bowling and spending time with Santa and opening their gifts. It is lunch time and Bass Pro Shop and Uncle Bucks provided a great lunch along with donated cake pops from Ticklebelly for desert. Ticklebelly has donated cake pops for all of our outings. December 8, 2017 Location: Bass Pro Shop, Colorado Springs, CO Hosted By: Operation TBI Freedom, River Deep and SCI HOP Participants: Operation TBI Freedom staff and clients, Soldiers from Ft Carson WTB, and Wounded Veterans with River Deep and SCI HOP Family Holiday Party, Bowling and Santa Operation TBI Freedom, River Deep and SCI HOP hosted the third annual Family Holiday Party for wounded vets and family members at the Bass Pro Shop in Colorado Springs. The Bass Pro Shop and Uncle Buck’s Fishbowl & Grill have a beautiful bowling alley that feels like an aquarium with all the fish mounts hanging from the ceiling along with the tackle and boats. Santa sat next to the Christmas tree, fireplace and decorations as he passed out presents to 50 children, along with over 100 adults in attendance. Some are bowling and some are bringing their kids over to meet Santa, receive a gift and have their picture taken. Uncle Buck’s Fishbowl & Grill, connected to the bowling alley, served lunch at noon which left everyone with a smile on their face. It was a fantastic family holiday party. Thanks to Operation TBI Freedom and their staff, along with Bass Pro Shop, Uncle Buck’s Fishbowl & Grill, Fort Carson Warrior Transition Battalion (WTB), River Deep, SCI HOP and all the volunteers that made this possible. December 21, 2016 Bass Pro Shops Colorado Springs Operation TBI, Freedom Hunters and Denver SCI Chapter Humanitarian Outreach Program Christmas Party It is our annual Christmas party for Vets and family members at the Bass Pro bowling alley and Uncle Buck’s Restaurant. It feels and looks like an Aspen lodge. Santa is with us handing out gifts to all the children. The staff from Operation TBI is handing out gift cards to all the adults. Everyone is bowling and having a great time. Then it is time for lunch and Uncle Buck’s Restaurant puts out a great buffet. It has been a great day for all. A big thanks to all the Bass Pro staff who have been fantastic and all their donations that made this a success. Also, Operation TBI, Freedom Hunters and Denver SCI Chapter Humanitarian Outreach, great organizations and great people who help the people that have given so much.
